Give Your Clients On-Line Access with DP Live

The DP Live module of DrugPak makes it possible for your clients to access information on their substance abuse testing programs on their own schedule.  Your clients use a password-protected login that gives them access to the company/participants/results that you assign to them. 

Visitors can view new results and print their own result letters.  They can also search for results and create their own result list reports.  They can view their list of participants, add new participants and terminate participants from their current list.  You can give them access to view your list of collection sites and even map the addresses.

Real-Time Reporting
DP Live provides access to your DrugPak data immediately!  As soon as a result has been saved in DrugPak it is available for a DP Live visitor to view.  As soon as you perform a random selection the selected participants are available on the web site.

Customizable Access
You can specify the rights and restrictions that your DP Live visitors have, either in general or for any specific visitor.  You can allow your visitors to update participant information (such as name or occupation) or arrange it so that they can see the information but cannot change it.  You can also specify certain items to be invisible.  Result data is always safe from modification.  There are no options that a visitor can use to change anything about a result.

Secure Server
A standard part of setting up DP Live is configuring the web server to provide secure access (HTTPS).  This ensures that your DrugPak data is viewed only by visitors who have logged in with correct user names and passwords.

Document Manager and DP Billing
If you use the Document Manager module of DrugPak then DP Live can provide visitors with access to chain of custody documents or any other type of document you want to allow them to see.  When used with DP Billing a DP Live visitor can view their invoice history.

Using Version 6:
Automating the DOT MIS Form with
DP Informer


The DOT MIS form is a very important document to many DrugPak users and their clients.  DrugPak makes it easy to create the MIS form report based on results and participant history.  Take a look at this video to learn more about how the options in this report work.

When using DP Informer it is possible to automate the creation and delivery of the MIS form.  Here are a few guidelines for setting up the MIS form as a Contact-Report in DrugPak.

If you leave the "Report Frequency" as "no limit" then you can choose to generate the MIS form at any time that you need to. (e.g. quarterly, etc)

  • If you turn on all of the check boxes in "DOT Administrations" then, if a result or participant was accidentally entered with inappropriate information, then the "wrong" report will be produced (e.g. an FAA report for a company that only has FMCSA).  When you generate the report you could review the reports before delivery (by closing the DP Transmission Center) or encourage your clients to review the reports and get back to you if they find errors.
  • The "Company Scope" option should normally be set to "Single Company" and a company must be specified.
  • In the "Date Range" option use the check box at the top for "Use global report default setting".  By using this option you can then control all of the reports for all of the contacts by changing the report date in one place.  Before you go to generate the MIS form report, go to the Reports menu, Global Report Defaults, Analysis, DOT MIS Form, and select your reporting date (e.g. 1/1/09 through 12/31/09).  Next year you can simply change that one date and then generate.

There are a number of other options for this report so please review the DrugPak Help Document on this topic and/or review the video.
