Document Manager is
an electronic document library that gives you the potential to save
time and provide better service to your clients. Scan Documents Document
Manager uses any TWAIN-compliant scanner to create document images.
With a multi-sheet scanner you can store a stack of COC forms in
seconds and have immediate, easy access whenever you need the images in
the future. Store Any File Document
Manager can be used to store any kind of computer file and link it to
data in DrugPak. Archive documents like Word, Excel and Acrobat. Images
such as JPG, BMP, TIF, and multimedia like WAV, AVI, WMV. Any file on
your computer that you want to store and link to a DrugPak result,
participant, company, collection site, or laboratory record! Find It In a Flash Once
an item has been brought into Document Manager you can create key
references that allow you to manage and search your documents in a
variety of customizable ways. Access documents linked to DrugPak
records using the camera button in the DrugPak Tool Bar or search
Document Manager using customizable keywords and filters. One of the primary uses of Document Manager is to scan chain of custody forms.
When used in conjunction with MRO Management it can be used to insert
information such as COC Received Date, Participant Name, and other
essential information. Document Manager lightens your
workload in other ways as well. For example, your customers can have
access to documents at any time-- even after normal business
hours--through the Internet using DP Live. The latest v5.5 release of
DP Live supports this feature. Document Manager can be
used for much more than just COC forms. You can store any document that
you might want to access in the future such as invoices, MRO notes,
telephone recordings, notices, correspondence, maps-- anything! Contact
the DrugPak sales department today to learn more. Take advantage of our

Participant Import: Multi-company or Partial-company
Two features of DrugPak's Participant Import tool provide flexible import options.
If
you have a single spreadsheet of participants for multiple companies in
DrugPak, as long as the company ID is part of each participant record,
you can import multiple companies in one process. The company ID must be exact and each participant must have a company ID.
In the Participant Import Options, (a step in the import wizard), make
sure the "Import Data Into" setting is "Multiple Companies".
If
you have a spreadsheet that has all the participants in a home base for
a company in DrugPak with multiple home bases, you can easily import
that as well. The issue in this case is that you want a special
behavior of DrugPak's feature to automatically terminate a participant
who is active in DrugPak but missing from the import file. In the
Participant Import Options, as long as the home base code is one of the
fields you are importing, you will have option at the bottom of the
window to "Terminate just the Homebases Imported". Select that
option, and when you import the list, participants in the home base(s)
involved in that file with be added and terminated as usual, but
participants in that company in other home bases will not be effected.

DrugPak.com e-mail
Effective May 15, 2009, DrugPak staff members are no longer receiving e-mail through "scanlonassociates.com" addresses.
DrugPak
staff have been using "drugpak.com" e-mail addresses for several years
now. During this time all "scanlonassociates.com" e-mail has been
automatically forwarded to our "drugpak.com" mailboxes.
E-mail addressed to DrugPak staff members must be addressed to drugpak.com or they will not reach the intended recipient, and no error message will be returned.
This change was originally announced in the May DrugPak newsletter and this is only a reminder.
Please check your address book(s) for "scanlonassociates.com" addresses and change them to "drugpak.com". Thank you!
